BackForth saves your time and effort by enabling you to make and restore backups quickly without involving the use of file managers such as Windows® Explorer. Without BackForth, you would essentially copy and paste files and folders to make backups. BackForth leaves copying and pasting forever in the dustbin of history.

BackForth is amazingly easy to use. You only need to create a backup project (a Scheme) and drop the files and folders that you wish to backup into the main window of BackForth. Thereafter, it takes only a couple of clicks to make a backup of these files, and you can make as many backups and as often as you like. This way, you can backup just about anything, from saves in your favourite game to various versions of documents that you compose. Restoring the contents of those backups to their original locations is just as easy.

BackForth keeps track of when your backups were created and what you named them. This feature enables you to control versions of your files by making backups of them, then performing a rollback to an earlier version if need be. This feature is extremely useful if you often draft documents (or design programs etc) which are subject to frequent changes. Using BackForth to control the versions of those files may save you long hours of work when your boss asks you to return to "the version we had last week, remember?"
